I'm extremely disappointed with the service I received from "Visa " Do not purchase a Visa Vanilla card it's a scam and a ripoff.
I bought the gift card from my local Walgreens. I needed to pay money for my child support in another state to avoid possible incarceration.
After sorting through the multitude of cards available and after reading and considering what they offered I decided that a "Visa" Vanilla gift card would be the best selection for my situation. And I believed "Visa " to be a trusted company. Well I got it and then tried to pay my bill for the Child Support ; "Visa" deemed it was unsafe and a risk to honor the payment. Subsequently, the card was frozen with no way to pay the money for the Child Support.
Now I'm in danger of being being arrested and put in jail. When I tried to contact someone via the phone; I was confronted with the runaround and transferred to someone else in the charade who would tell me that that wasn't their department or anything else to avoid any kind of resolution that could help me. Finally after 3 frustrating, infuriating and exhausting days of calling and inquiries ; I connected with someone from "Visa " who told me that they had deactivated the card because of questionable use of the funds on the card. So I've been told that they are mailing me a new card and that it can take as many as 8-10 business days to get.
In the meantime I'm screwed as I could be arrested before then as all my money is tied up in that card.
It's been an unfortunate set of circumstances that got me to this point and I accept the fact that I have an obligation to help support my children and I'm determined to never get behind with my support payments ever again. The point of my review is if you find yourself in a jam and need a way to pay money for whatever; I'm telling you that you can't afford to trust "Visa " Paul E

Purchase I didn't make
My card was a $50 dollar card and the activation fee was over $50 so My family member spent $100 for me and my sibling for basically nothing

Frud from trading company
I have been stolen with amount 104238 and they cloked me and stol my money i have went to the bank and told the the issue and i made compliant but hte frud trading company know then they told me if you cancel the complaint we will return your money back then i went to the bank and i cancel the complain the frud conpany also the have cheating on me and they didnt return my money back i went the bank again they refuse to rise the complaint again becuse of visa company procedure , the bank told me talk to the visa company and let then send us an email to re open the case again

Cost to replace a card I never received
I belong to United Health Care Systems, and they offer a program to earn rewards by doing health checkups, wellness exams, etc. I started this year with an annual wellness exam and earned $25 for this, which they said I would receive a Visa rewards card to use anywhere of my choosing.
That was great, only I never received the card. Now, five months later, I contact UHC, and they confirm that the card was never activated and had the balance that I earned. So, they put me through to Visa; they again confirmed that the card was never activated, and they told me they would be replacing the card BUT AT A COST OF $5.95.
Really??? I never received the card in the first place, but you are charging me, a retired person on social security, a fee to replace the card I never received!
Way to go, bleeding us folks who are living on social security! :(

Hugh net had my bank card that I cancel on file and tried to get $520 dollars from me
I could not afford that and u guys gave them the new card number so they could take $520 without sending to collections first and u guys gave them my personal information to them so they could steal 520 dollars out of my bank which u guys let happen and I think I guys should take responsibility for that and get my money bank I can pay them payments but that was wrong on there end and ur end
